INTROVERT IN THE NEW WORLD

i had never come across the words introvert and extrovert till my 12th grade.. the first time when i heard it was when my sister, who had come back home from college for the summer, was telling me about a website that provides the service of determining your personality trait through a questionnaire.

i was not really into this subject and just took the online " test"  for my own amusement.

after answering about 40 question which were mainly about different situations and had four option each. the options were ways in which we would react to the situations and we had to choose the appropriate one according to our knowledge...

to be frank, going through the 40 question was tiring but to get a fairly accurate result i completed the questionnaire .

and the result i got was that i am an INTROVERT..

it did not mean a great deal to me then but during my great depression of 2011.. ( great depression.. sounds like a historical period) .. i did discover that i was an introvert.. well i'm not giving credit to the website that it was accurate.. it was fairly accurate and it was so because i took the pain to answer all the questions..

i was the extreme of introvert..

i never came out of my room except for having food.. but later on i used to smuggle food into my room everyday morning and never come out of my room till night time.. the only time i left the house was around midnight and that too was to smoke..

so from all this what we incure is that INTROVERT means LOSER in the new world..

i know we all know this because all the popular kids in schools and colleges are the people who are more outward character wise, they like to party , go out and always want to be with company,.. these are the people who like to talk rather than listen.. try to push their opinions and always like to take risk and quick decisions. these people are EXTROVERTS

and this is what everybody wants. all the companies, schools and colleges want to have such people who can show performance from the moment they enter the instittions...

But they don't realize the hard truth that

INTROVERTS ARE THE NEW EXTROVERTS..

if you are an introvert.. you are most lucky.. do you know why..

1. introverts are known to socialize less which means we like to enjoy the better things in life.. what 100 people bring to a extrovert can be achieved my an introvert spending alone time on the beach or with a book

2. unlike extroverts, introverts think before they talk.. hence in an argument we are cool minded yet strong.

3. its not that introverts don't take risks.. its just that introverts take calculated risk.. its better than jumping off a cliff without a parachute.

4. it is said that introverts spend time with themselves a lot.. yes we do .. we think a lot.. we plan every step properly.

5. extroverts like conflict, they like things a little complex that it is.. introverts like things simple which can be figured out easily.. so we tend to simplify unlike extroverts who complicate but end up having the same answers..

I can go on but remember.. you are who you are and until you have made your peace with it you cannot move on to better things.. so what ever personality traits you have.. accept it..

I AM NOT SAYING EXTROVERT IS BAD..

I AM SAYING INTROVERT IS AS GOOD AS EXTROVERT..
